ZIF roundtable with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger


On 11 July 2018 ZIF hosted an exclusive roundtable discussion with Ambassador Dr. Thomas Greminger, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Mr. Greminger has been appointed Secretary General of the OSCE in July 2017 and has launched the encompassing agenda for reform “Fit for Purpose” to make the OSCE fit for the future. The focus of the discussion were the overall political challenges and institutional structural reforms of the OSCE as well as the particular task of recruiting and developing talented staff for the organization and its missions. The Secretary General and the OSCE’s Deputy Director Human Resources, Michael Conneely, discussed these issues with distinguished guests from ministries, development cooperation, think tanks, the media, and ZIF.
