The foreign ministers of Kosovo and Serbia exchanged harsh words during a UN Security Council debate on Kosovo, which called on Kosovo and Serbia to continue talks and refrain from actions that may raise tensions.

The KSF may soon take part in NATO-led missions in Libya and Afghanistan. While the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) conducts crisis response operations domestically and abroad, it does not have the status of an army. The EU Civilian Operations Commander, Hansjoerg Haber, has said the results of the Strategic Review into EULEX, will lead to a ‘stronger, leaner and more efficient’ mission.
