Enttäuschung über die Entwicklungen in Kosova habe, so ein Parteivertreter, die LPK veranlasst, eine Resolution für einen dauerhaften Frieden, Integration und Entwicklung Kosovas auszuarbeiten.
Holkeri Finds Support in Brussels (09.09.2003)
(Quelle: Southeast European Times) Following talks with senior EU and NATO officials in Brussels on Tuesday (9 September), UNMIK chief Harri Holkeri said that he received full support for his efforts to stabilise the situation in Kosovo. Holkeri said he was returning to Pristina encouraged by the knowledge that the international community shares the same view regarding Kosovo's security and the need for all ethnic groups to live in peace.

KFOR to Launch Weapons Amnesty Program (24.08.2003)

KFOR says those who turn in illegal weapons during the month will be granted amnesty, with no questions asked.
Kosovar Leader rejects Serbian Charges (20.08.2003)

Kosovo Violence Escalates (19.08.2003)

At least three vehicles were stoned and their Albanian occupants beaten up while passing through the Serb enclave of Gracanica on August 17, in what United Nations police believe was retaliation for the murders of two young Serbs last week.

Die serbischen Vertreter fällten ihren Beschluss einstimmig und entschieden, sie würden innerhalb des Rates auch nicht als informelle Gruppe agieren. Die Gespräche zwischen Pristina und Belgrad seien trotzdem unumgänglich, weil die Resolution 1244 nur vorläufig den Kosovo-Status regele, sagte der DSS-Vorsitzende auf einer Pressekonferenz.

Shortly before midnight on Sunday, Major Menon and another officer from the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) slowed their patrol car due to rocks on the road between Leposavic and Mitrovica and came under gunfire from concealed attackers.

(Quelle: osce.org) A two-day OSCE conference on the future of Roma refugees from Kosovo opened in Skopje on July 24th.The meeting will discuss prospects for sustainable return and re-integration of the estimated 50,000-70,000 Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians who fled Kosovo during the armed conflict in the province in 1999. Most of these refugees now temporarily live in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and in Serbia and Montenegro.

Explosions in Pristina (21.07.2003)
