Training course for future ECOWAS election observers

From January 31 through February 9, ZIF co-organized the 9th training course for ECOWAS election observers together with our long-standing partners from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC).
The group consisted of West African who will be sent on election observation missions by ECOWAS. The feedback of all 23 participants was very positive. Especially appreciated was the high level of interactivity of the course as well as the hands-on exercises such as first aid, personal security in the field, and 4x4 driving. The course took place at KAIPTC in Accra, Ghana.
