ZIF participating in “Peace and Security Department Civilian Standby Roster Implementation Workshop” of the African Union

The African Union is holding the “Peace and Security Department Civilian Standby Roster* Implementation Workshop” on May 30-31, 2011 in Kampala/Uganda.

The workshop is focusing on the implementation of the civilian component of the African Standby Force. Within this framework Hannelore Valier (civcap, Project manager) is requested to share ZIF experience as a Roster agency with a special focus on the EU context, while Anita Janassary (civcap, Project officer) will introduce the participants to the ZIF databases as a roster instrument. The workshop will be attended by several African Regional Economic Organizations and the regional African Training Centres.

*A roster is a human resources system. It is also a list of technically cleared candidates eligible for a vacancy at the advertised level and occupational group (see also: www.civcap.info).
