Intercultural Management & Behavior

Course description

The deployment to a peace operation often goes along with a change into a new cultural environment. The confrontation with a new culture does not remain limited to the culture that is prevalent in the crisis region. Often the missions require the collaboration of seconded experts from diverse countries with different cultural backgrounds. Therefore, intercultural competence is a key factor of success.

During the course „Intercultural Management and Behaviour“ participants delve into cultural differences and learn to adapt their communication and management behavior to the special challenges of working in intercultural teams and within a different cultural environment in the host country.

The course is offered in cooperation with the Federal Police College in Lübeck.

The course language is English.
