Constitution of new ZIF supervisory board

On 19 November 2018 the new supervisory board of ZIF for the 19th legislative period of the German Bundestag was constituted. The supervisory board is a body of control stipulated by the statutes of ZIF, which advises and approves the actions of the executive board. All federal ministries with whom ZIF works closely together are represented in the supervisory board (the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community, the Federal Ministry of Defense, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Federal Foreign Office), as well as members of all factions in the Bundestag.

The supervisory board reelected MP Michael Roth, Minister of State, in its constitutive session as chairperson and elected MP Dr. Franziska Brantner as deputy chairperson.

The Federal Republic of Germany is ZIF’s sole shareholder, represented by the Federal Foreign Office. On this event the Federal Foreign Office published a notification.
