International Advisory Board discusses trends and challenges in peace operations

At this year's meeting of our International Advisory Board from July 6-7, the members discussed trends and challenges in peace operations with ZIF representatives. The Director-general at the Federal Foreign Office for Crisis Prevention, Stabilisation, Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Aid, Deike Potzel, welcomed the Advisory Board members and marked the substantive start of the meeting.

The key topics of the following discussions included regionalization of peace operations, the role of digitization, and measuring the impact of international interventions. Members of the board also exchanged views on the recently published National Security Strategy for the Federal Republic of Germany.
