State-level security agency fails to arrest Bosnian Serb leader Dodik

Bosnia's state-level law enforcement agency's attempt to apprehend Bosnian Serb separatist leader Milorad Dodik, on a warrant issued over his first-instance court sentence for violating constitutional order, was blocked by his security and entity-level police.

Bosnian Serb leader visits Moscow days after court requests arrest warrant

Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik announced on March 31 that he had arrived in Moscow after prosecutors in Bosnia-Herzegovina requested an international arrest warrant over accusations that he flouted the Balkan country's constitution.

OSCE Chair demands respect for constitution to end Bosnia's crisis

[…] The OSCE said the recent moves made by the Respublika Srpska leadership directly violate the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The laws passed by the entity's parliament in recent weeks have also earned condemnation from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and several foreign embassies in the country.

Bosnian Serbs adopt new draft constitution despite condemnation

Escalating Bosnia's political crisis, and despite criticism, the Republika Srpska assembly adopted a new draft constitution and law allowing for the formation of a separate army and judiciary. … The adoption of the draft constitution and law comes a day after the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an arrest warrant for RS President Milorad Dodik and two others, accusing them of an “attack on the constitutional order” of the country.
