Camp Coordination and Camp Management

An increasing number of persons is forced to flee their homes due to war, conflict, natural hazards and the effects of climate change. They may therefore need to temporarily reside in camps or camp-like settings.

The objective of Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) is to ensure equitable access to assistance, protection and services for displaced persons living in displacement sites, to improve their quality of life and protect their dignity during displacement while seeking and advocating for durable solutions.

ZIF supports its humanitarian UN partners by deploying CCCM experts in order to work towards safer and more dignified conditions in displacement sites. Expertise offered by ZIF can be technical in nature or in the field of CCCM Cluster Coordination. The Expert Pool therefore offers the following two profiles:

• Camp Coordination and Camp Management Officer
• Camp Coordination and Camp Management Cluster Coordination Officer

• Several years of professional experience in humanitarian assistance;
• Sound knowledge of the humanitarian system and humanitarian standards;
• Professional experience in refugee and internally displaced persons contexts;
• Experience in humanitarian needs assessments and coordination;
• Professional experience in an international organisation desired;
