What Is the ZIF Expert Pool?

The ZIF Expert Pool is a standby personnel reserve made up of pre-selected and pre-qualified personnel who can be deployed (“seconded”) to international operations. We admit civilian experts into the ZIF Expert Pool for three different competence areas: peace operations, humanitarian operations and election observation missions.

Aapplications can be submitted for one of these areas only as each of them requires different expertise, availability and therefore application procedures.
