Calendar ZIF Training Courses

The course aims to equip participants with all the knowledge and skills needed for successful deployment as a Short-term Election Observer (STO). The course follows the standards of the international organisations EU and OSCE/ODIHR.

The training serves as a refresher to the HEAT course. It raises the participants’ awareness of potential dangerous situations in the field and teaches techniques and tools for meeting these situations. Through simulation and exercises participants apply what they have learned and practice their behaviour in dangerous situations.

The Comprehensive Core Course (CCC) (formerly CGTPO) prepares experts for deployment to UN, OSCE, or EU peace operations. The course follows the ZIF Civilian Expert Concept and builds the professional, personal, social and methodological skills required to successfully work in a peace operation.

The training raises the participants’ awareness of potential dangerous situations in the field and teaches techniques and tools for meeting these situations. Through simulation and exercises participants apply what they have learned and practice their behaviour in specific dangerous situations.
