About
Matthias Bischoff has been responsible for security management at ZIF as team leader since 2026. Previously, he worked as a security analyst for the EU Mission in Iraq (EUAM Iraq) in Baghdad.
Matthias Bischoff has many years of experience as a security consultant for humanitarian organisations, including Welthungerhilfe, Norwegian Church Aid and Médecins Sans Frontières, in crisis and conflict contexts in Africa and the Middle East.
Matthias Bischoff began his career in security as a police officer with the Bavarian Police, where he gained operational experience in complex situations. He studied politics and communication sciences in Australia and Scotland.
