About
Maximilian Biesenecker has been an Advisor and Deputy Team Leader in the Security and Risk Management Team at ZIF since 2025. He gained international experience during his 13 years of service in the German Armed Forces, including as Deputy Defence Attaché at the German Embassy in Mali, as part of the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon, and in cooperation projects with the armed forces in Lithuania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Maximilian Biesenecker holds a master's degree in international law and politics. His professional focus lies at the interface between security, diplomacy, and development.
