Deployment agreement between WHO and ZIF signed at the German Foreign Office

On June 21, 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) and ZIF signed a deployment agreement at the Federal Foreign Office in the presence of Ricklef Beutin (AA), Dr. Ihekweazu (WHO) and Dr. Wieland-Karimi (ZIF). Based on this agreement, ZIF is now able to deploy experts to short-term humanitarian missions of the WHO. The WHO plays a central role in dealing with global health crises and ensuring basic health care in crisis and conflict areas. By signing the deployment agreement, Germany is making an important contribution to providing the WHO with targeted local support in the form of personnel.
