With the support of the German Federal Foreign Office, ZIF organized the second Health Cluster Coordination Training with a focus on female leadership in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Kremmen.

The challenging training focused on developing the necessary competencies needed to lead and coordinate effective humanitarian health interventions in acute and protracted emergencies. The training included participatory elements, including a four-day simulation of a national disaster outbreak, which prepared the participants for the comprehensive implementation of health cluster coordination. Successful participation enables graduates to implement leadership and coordination tasks in crisis-affected countries even more effectively.

The close collaboration between ZIF and UN partner organizations as part of the training cooperations allows members of the ZIF Expert Pool to participate in UN specialization courses. Our sincere thanks go to the organizers from WHO and all the dedicated experts and trainers who contributed to the successful completion of the training.
