Cooperation is critical for success: Exchange with Defence Minister Lambrecht

On 30 September 2022, ZIF's Managing Director ad interim, Dr Astrid Irrgang, met with Minister Christine Lambrecht as part of her work as Deputy Spokesperson of the 15th Advisory Board on Innere Führung of the Federal Ministry of Defence. In a short conversation, the various aspects of the Comprehensive Approach in international peace missions were discussed. Astrid Irrgang emphasised that the cooperation with the Bundeswehr shapes many of the courses offered by ZIF and is also reflected in the joint Training Partner Platform (TPP). At the same time, ZIF supports the development of a deeper understanding of the Comprehensive Approach through lectures in the training of personnel at the Bundeswehr Command and Staff College. Regular exchange between ZIF civilian experts and members of the armed forces is critical - especially for successful cooperation in the field.
