EEAS Pool of Mediators Certificate Program

14 high-ranking EU diplomats spent three days of intensive exchange with international mediation experts to discuss peace mediation topics such as process design and inclusivity and to deepen their knowledge in interactive and participatory formats. In addition, participants honed their skills in the application of mediation-specific techniques and tools such as communication techniques and conflict analysis. 

The structured and at the same time informal setting of the certificate program also provided a protected space for collegial exchange and consultation on specific challenges of peace mediation from the participants' work contexts.
