Exchange & Networking: First Contingent Meeting with ZIF Secondees in Humanitarian Operations

Currently, ZIF seconds humanitarian experts to missions of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and the World Food Program (WFP) to humanitarian emergencies in Madagascar, Haiti, Sudan, Iraq and the Philippines. In early March, our experts exchanged impressions of their respective missions amongst themselves and shared their experiences with ZIF and the German Foreign Office. The exchange marked the importance of the work of our humanitarian experts on the ground and the challenges they face in their daily work.
