Despite looming pressure from climate security and Covid-19, Africa can take advantage of the technologies to leapfrog, achieve trade integration, and more rapidly realize its demographic dividend. Peace operations, too, must recognise the time it takes to transition from a war-economy to one characterised by peace and development.
