Review of the 5th German-Swiss mediation training for diplomats

Interesting thoughts on the future of mediation in the face of numerous conflicts worldwide were discussed by ZIF Executive Director Dr. Wieland-Karimi at the closing event of the German-Swiss mediation training for diplomats with Ambassador (ret.) Herbert Salber and Julian Hottinger, Senior Advisor of the Swiss DFA. The participants of the training were able to deepen their knowledge in peace mediation such as conflict analysis and process design in interactive role plays. We would like to thank the Foreign Ministries of Germany and Switzerland as well as all participating experts and facilitators who, in cooperation with ZIF, contributed to the successful implementation of the training.
