ZIF High-Level Peer Exchange on Cross-Party Negotiations

On 12 May, ZIF organized a high-level peer exchange on cross-party negotiations. The lively exchange aimed at identifying successful approaches to cross-party negotiations and forging sustainable alliances in complex political settings. With insights and best practices from Germany, Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, the invited speakers reported on their own negotiation experiences in polarized political contexts and on how to create common ground across political camps. The aim of this exchange was to  transfer the knowledge gained to other contexts.
