At its meeting this year on June 24, 2026, the ZIF Supervisory Board reviewed the annual financial statements and the management report for the 2025 fiscal year. In addition, ZIF Managing Director Dr. Astrid Irrgang reported on the key areas of focus and developments over the past year.

During the meeting, the Supervisory Board discussed the auditor’s report and the report on compliance with the Public Corporate Governance Code. The Supervisory Board will forward the results of its review to the shareholders’ meeting.

The Chair of the Supervisory Board, Florian Hahn, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, praised ZIF’s work in a challenging international environment. He particularly highlighted how flexibly ZIF had responded to dynamic geopolitical developments. Hahn viewed the growing visibility of experts and executives seconded by ZIF to international organizations and missions as especially positive. As an example, he cited recent appointments of former ZIF secondees as heads of EU missions.

The ZIF Supervisory Board includes representatives from all parliamentary groups in the German Bundestag as well as from the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the Interior, Economic Cooperation and Development, and Defense.
