Data Analyst

Data Analysts are responsible for collecting, processing, analysing and communicating raw data on humanitarian needs, gaps and requirements. Ensuring quality control and consistency of information is key to the profile of analysts. By translating complex analyses and high-volume data into simple, clear and accurate findings and products, analysts support effective and efficient humanitarian aid.

Data Analysts pay particular attention to detail and are able to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.

Specific profile requirements for Data Analysts

  • Preferably a university degree in social sciences, statistics, demography, geography or related field of study;
  • Knowledge of humanitarian coordination and the UN system;
  • Working experience in an international organisation is preferred;
  • Sound knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, functions);
  • Sound knowledge of SPSS, Epi Info, MS Access, Progress tools
