Graphic Designer & Web Manager

Graphic Designers and Web Manager produce information products such as infographics, reports, presentations, websites and many more. Their products help raise awareness and support decision-making as well as advocacy.

During their deployment, Graphic Designers follow and promote information product templates and style guidelines. They also develop and implement distribution strategies to share information management products. Web Managers plan, design and implement web-based information management tools. Their knowledge of various coding languages as well as experience in database design enable them to develop web-tools for the humanitarian crisis.

Graphic Designers are creative and detail-oriented and are able to communicate complex humanitarian information.

Specific profile requirements for Graphic Designers & Web Managers

  • Preferably a university degree or completed vocational training in computer science, graphic design or related field;
  • Knowledge of the humanitarian system;
  • Working experience in an international organization is preferred;
  • Sound knowledge of HTML, PHP, Java, SQL, MS Access, Progress tools;
  • Sound knowledge of InDesign and other graphics tools.
