EU countries agree to train 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers: report

So-called referenda ‘cannot be regarded as legal’: UN political affairs chief

Recent so-called referenda conducted in four Russian-occupied regions in Ukraine cannot be considered legal under international law, the UN’s political affairs chief, Rosemary DiCarlo, told the Security Council on Tuesday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also briefed ambassadors, blasting the “sham referenda”, though Russia objected to his participation via videoconference.

Russian ally Kazakhstan says it won't recognize referendum results from Ukraine

War crimes have been committed in Ukraine conflict, top UN human rights inquiry reveals

Zelenskiy demands UN punish Russia for invasion; Biden calls Moscow's behavior affront to UN Charter

More than 14,000 casualties to date but ‘actual numbers are likely considerably higher'
