UN condemns 'barbaric' Boko Haram violence in Nigeria

The United Nations has accused the Islamist extremist group Boko Haram of "almost unimaginable" violence and brutality in Nigeria. Stephen O'Brien, the UN humanitarian co-ordinator, said the militant group's actions had forced thousands to flee and left unprecedented numbers in need.

US Diplomat: US stands with allies in fight against Boko Haram

Rehabilitation camp for Boko Haram fighters to open in April: army

A rehabilitation camp for hundreds of Boko Haram Islamists who have surrendered to the Nigerian military is set to open later in April, a military spokesman said. More than 800 fighters are expected to receive rehabilitation and skills training in the camp, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar said.
