Security Council unanimously renews mandate of UNDOF

The Security Council today decided to renew the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the Golan for six months, until 30 June 2023, while requesting the Secretary-General to ensure that it has the capacity and resources needed to fulfil its mandate in a safe and secure manner.

Israel missiles hit Syria town on Golan truce line

Israel bombarded a Syrian town near the armistice line on the Golan Heights with surface-to-surface missiles early Wednesday, state media reported, without any immediate mention of casualties. It is the third time this month that Israel has hit targets inside Syria as it keeps up a bombing campaign against pro-Iranian forces supporting the Damascus government in Syria’s more than decade-old civil war.

Israel says destroys Syrian army post in Golan
